SLIDESHOW - WEDNESDAY 11AM: Children were expertly coached by the FA in football skills as part of a new scheme to boost English football.
On Monday, more than 40 youngsters, aged 5 to 11, enjoyed a morning of training at John Ferneley School as part of the FA Tesco skills programme.

Coach Mark Kearney, from Leicestershire and Rutland FA, said: "It was a chance to improve the children's agility and balance and to promote a healthy lifestyle. It is designed to improve football from a grassroots level."

It is hoped another session will run in February half-term as well as starting to work with school teams.
