Despite the weather, visitors flocked to Whissendine over the Bank Holiday weekend to enjoy the wonder of some spectacular floral interpretations of music. Flower displays had the theme ‘Music we Love’, chosen in honour of Dot Dickinson, who died last year having organised the event for many years. A record number of visitors attended and around £2,800 was raised for St Andrew’s Church funds.
