War heroes will never be forgotten in Somerby

Out of the 582 Second World War paratroopers who left on September 18, a mere 30 arrived back for the homecoming in Somerby. The village has never forgotten and every year the heroism and sacrifice of these young men has been remembered with a parade and church service in the village.
