Waltham festival is a hit despite the weather

The good times returned at Waltham music, beer and food festival despite the Saturday (June 20) being a wash out.

Visitors who attended were able to enjoy live music, more than 15 local real ales and ciders and a hog roast.

Chair of the village hall committee Paul Holland said: “This was the first time we organised entertainment on the Friday night as well as over the weekend.

“The festival is about giving something back to the village rather than raising funds.”

There were also refreshments, produce stalls and retro gaming activities in the church which raised £537 to help with maintenance improvements.
