Tractor and trailer tip over on Shoby bends near Asfordby
Emergency services were alerted this afternoon (Friday) after a tractor and trailer overturned on the Shoby bends near Asfordby.
Two fire crews from the Melton station attended the incident, on the A6006 at 1.34pm.
A spokesperson for Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service said: “A tractor and trailer carrying manure had tipped over on the Shoby bends.
“The driver had self-extricated themselves when we arrived.
“Fire crews are making the tractor and trailer safe.”
Leicestershire Police officers attended to manage the traffic around the stricken vehicle.
