Female trapped after Old Dalby collision

A female casualty was taken to hospital after two cars were in collision in Old Dalby on Tuesday night.

Two fire crews attended the incident, which happened on Station Road at 7.46pm.

A spokesperson for Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were called to a road traffic collision involving two vehicles.

“Fire Crews stabilised the vehicle and one female was trapped and self-extricated herself from the vehicle under fire service supervision.

“The female was treated by EMAS staff on scene and conveyed to Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham by land ambulance.”
