Colleagues from The Nottingham made a wheel-y good amount for charity by doing a gruelling 24-mile bike ride.

The team, which included Melton branch manager Val Turns, raised just under £700 for Ben’s Den (The Ben Parker Trust Fund) and CLIC Sargent cycling around Rutland Water.

Val said: “It was a tough ride but nothing in comparison to what the children helped by Ben’s Den and CLIC Sargent go through, so we’re delighted to have raised so much money for two great causes.”
