From cake bakes to fancy dress days, from talent contests to competitions, children across the borough will be supporting Children in Need tomorrow.
For instance, St Mary’s Primary School are baking and selling cakes and participating in superhero themed fun.
St Francis and The Grove primary schools are holding non-uniform days, as are John Ferneley College who are donating their proceeds to Children In Need and Cystic Fibrosis.
Children at Swallowdale Primary School are having a dress spotty day whilst Sherard Primary School are staging their own x-factor show and having a pyjama day.
Sixth form students at Melton Vale Post 16 Centre are taking part in their own generation game and are having a fancy dress day.
There will be superhero fancy dress, a cake sale and a name the teddy competition at St Peter’s Primary School in Wymondham, and at Long Field Academy, the house captain’s will be dressing up as superheroes representing their house colours, and their peers are dressing up in onesies.
Next week the Melton Times will include a round-up of the activities and events that took place in schools and across the town to support the appeal.
