Fundraisers who are helping children orphaned by the Asian tsunami are gathering in Bottesford tomorrow (Saturday) to dicuss plans for the coming year.
Mr and Mrs Storrie will give an update on the charity and show a video of the Rosie May Home, which houses oprhans in Sri Lanka, at the event, at Bottesford Baptist Church, at 10am.
Past volunteers will talk about their achievements and information will be given on this year’s fundraisers, which include treks in the Sahara and Nepal and the Bupa 10k road race in London.
Tea and coffee will be served from 9.30am for those who can arrive before the meeting begins.
The charity is asking for donations of old or unused laptops which can be sent to children in Sri Lanka.The Rosie May Home IT suite helps the orphaned girls but also offers classes to local people, providing basic IT skills.
