Roll up for a taste of foodie heaven

WEDNESDAY: Food producers and foodies are being encouraged to snap up stands and tickets for this year's East Midlands Food and Drink Festival at Brooksby Hall.

Last year the region's premier food event attracted more than 8,000 visitors and this year's festival, on the weekend of October 2 and 3, looks to be even better with the introduction of the Change 4 Life Family, Food and Fun Zone.

The demonstrations in the Rangemaster Cookery Theatre, as well as a wide selection of tastings and activities, are a big draw and entry has been held at 5 per adult for advanced tickets and 6 on the day with children under 16 free.

A downloadable application form for trading space is available at www.eastmidlandsfoodfestival.co.uk

For tickets book online via the e-shop at www.goleicestershire.com
