Families were able to explore their creative side at Rearsby Art Club’s art and craft exhibition.

The two-day weekend event at the village hall featured various fun demonstrations that allowed visitors to have a go themselves.

These included quilting, stamping, water colours and a variety of different crafts.

Art Club member Rita Meade said: “We had around 130 people join us over the weekend. As well as an exhibition there were a number of paintings and Christmas cards on sale.

“I think this year was more of a success because we let people join in.”

Rearsby Art Club meet weekly at the village hall, on Wednesday evenings from 7.30-9.30pm.
