Adorable pets of all shapes and sizes filled Melton’s St Mary’s Church on Saturday.

It was all part of the latest Saturday activities morning in the church when people were invited to bring their pets along and tell all about them.

Four dogs were brought along as well as a number of toy animals. Special thanks to Nick Hunns, manager at Melton’s Pets at Home store, who interviewed the owners of the real animals and gave out prizes. Everyone who entered got a prize and a certificate. For the brave-hearted there was a chance to go up the 143 steps to the top of the church tower. Other activities included storytelling, games and more.
