NSPCC's visit to Wymondham School teaches children valuable lessons

The following report was written by George, Fin and Marly-Jay - pupils at St Peter's Primary School Primary School Wymondham following a visit by a representative of the NSPCC.

“A fortnight ago, a woman came in from the NSPCC to talk to us about child cruelty.

“Some of the subjects she talked to us about where mental abuse, physical abuse and sexual abuse.

“At first, Class 1 was taken in to the hall on their own. Then it was Class 2 and 3’s turn.

“After that it was just Class 3 who were taken back into the classroom for a workshop, where we talked about things that would not be appropriate for the younger children such as sexual abuse and physical abuse.

“We have learnt that if something is bothering us we should speak out or call Childline.”
