Inspired staff at Miss B’s Deli on Sherrard Street are celebrating after it was crowned winner of a best dressed window competition during the Victorian Christmas weekend in Melton.

The competition was sponsored by the Melton Mowbray Business Improvement District whose manager, Shelagh Core, presented Miss B’s Deli owner Louise Bushell with their award this week.

Louise said: “We were really thrilled to win and it’s great for a new business and the ladies who work here as well. It was their own idea to dress up and get into character.”

Shelagh added: “I think Miss B’s Deli stood out because their display was so Victorian and they got all of the staff involved.”
