Melton schoolgirls raise £81 for The Dogs Trust

Four kind-hearted Melton schoolgirls organised a cake sale and raffle to raise funds for The Dogs Trust.

St Francis Primary School pupils Holly Miller, Bobbie Lynch Woods, Hermione Naylor and Olivia Buxton, who are all aged 10, held the fundraising activities at Olivia’s grandma Sheena Iron’s home in Melton.

They also organised name the teddy and guess the number of sweets in the jar competitions to raise additional funds. In total they raised £81 for The Dogs Trust - the UK’s largest dog welfare charity.
