The Melton group’s arrangement encaptulated a winter wonderland. It featured an assortment of white flowers and had props including a toboggan and some very modern trees which had been specially made for the event.

Friends and visitors came to a firm decision that the winter wonderland display was the one they liked best so Melton were crowned champions, for the first time in the club’s history.

Melton and District Flower Club will be holding their annual open meeting at Melton Theatre on Monday, November 21. John Chennel will be the demonstrator and the title is “In Festive Mood.”
