Woman arrested after threatening to harm herself during incident in Melton
Police have arrested a woman who threatened to harm herself during an incident in Melton last night.
Officers were called to Chapel Street just before 10pm. Emergency services were still at the scene at 1.10am today (Wednesday).
A Leicestershire Police spokeswoman said: “Officers were called following reports of concerns for the safety of a woman who was threatening to harm herself.
“A 22-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of affray and criminal damage. She remains in police custody.”
