Landslide forces closure of A606 between Ab Kettleby and Nether Broughton
A landslide has forced the closure of the A606 between Ab Kettleby and Nether Broughton, just after the Little Belvoir crossroads.
At the time of going to press the stretch of road was still closed in both directions.
A Leicestershire County Council spokeswoman said: “The road will probably be closed for the rest of the day at least due to subsidence and some fallen trees.
“A forestry team has been sent out to remove the trees and a diversion route is in place.”
