Strike action by the NUT teachers’ union will affect provision at Long Field Academy in Melton on Wednesday.
The school will be closed to all students in Years 8, 9 and 10 but will remain open to students in Years 7 and 11.
Year 11 will take part in specific revision sessions in English, Maths and Science.
Year 7 children will participate in house challenges in a number of curriculum areas.
School buses will operate as usual to and from the academy.
Students in Year 8, 9 and 10 will be able to access learning on Fronter to study remotely from home.
Leicestershire County Council’s website - www.leics.gov.uk - currently lists 27 schools which will be closed or partially closed on Wednesday.
Sherard Primary in Melton is the only school in the borough known to be affected and will be closed on Wednesday.
The NUT has called the one-day strike in a continuing row with the Government over pay, pensions and conditions.
