Melton's Mayor-Elect invites 90-year-olds to afternoon tea party to celebrate The Queen's 90th birthday
Melton's mayor-elect for 2016/17 is inviting anyone in the borough who has turned or will turn 90 this year to his special afternoon tea party in June to celebrate The Queen's 90th birthday.
The tea party will be held in the civic suite of Melton Council’s Parkside offices on the afternoon of June 12. The event is to coincide with a street party being held on June 12 in The Mall in London as part of the national celebrations.
If you qualify or know anyone who turns 90 this year who would like to come to the mayor-elect’s event please get in touch with the mayor’s Office on (01664) 502314 or email [email protected] so that an official invitation can be sent. Guests may bring up to three family members, friends, or carers with them.
