Melton man admits to ABH attack

Mark Swanwick (29), of Rossiter Close, Melton, pleaded guilty to assault occasioning actual bodily harm on a man in Melton on May 17. Swanwick was given a one year community order including a requirement to do 80 hours’ unpaid work. He must also pay £125 compensation, a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

John Orridge (61), of Staveley Road, Melton, pleaded guilty to possessing a quantity of cocaine and cannabis in Melton on October 10. He was fined £120 and must pay £50 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.

Daniel Richardson (28), of Brook Street, Melton, pleaded guilty to assaulting a person in Melton on January 9 and damaging a fridge belonging to the town’s Arman restaurant. Richardson was given a six month community order including a requirement to do 100 hours’ unpaid work. He must also pay £150 compensation and £45 costs.

Nathan Wilson (28), of Beech Drive, Syston, admitted assaulting a man in Syston on November 4. He was given a one year community order, must pay £100 compensation, a £60 victim surcharge and £40 costs.
