Melton Cattle Market incident leaves car and van smashed up
A farmer has left two vehicles damaged in the cattle market car park today after his trailer caught a truck and pushed it into another vehicle.
Matthew O’Callaghan took this picture a few minutes later this lunchtime of the smashed vehicles. He says the farmer did not stop, but cattle market staff have got his vehicle registration number.
Mr O’Callaghan said: “A farmer with a trailer was parked in the council car park on Scalford Road alongside the cattle market. He was trying to get by and caught the edge of the pick-up truck dragging it into the car. He then went off without leaving his details.”
