Become a governor and help shape how ambulance service develops

A COURSE to help support parents bringing up young children has launched in Melton.

The National Parenting Initiative, which is running the course, aims to support parents who want their family life to be the best that it can be.

The course started at The Source in King Street on Tuesday and will run for the following four weeks every Tuesday evening from 7.45pm.

It is aimed at parents bringing up children aged 0-10 years.

A spokesman for the National Parenting Initiative said: “Anyone who is a parent knows how useful it would be if children came with an instruction manual. Failing that, most of us need a little extra help and advice from time to time.

“Taking a parenting course doesn’t mean you’re not a good parent; it simply shows that you want the best for your children.”
