During her reign so far, Katherine from Langham, has raised over £1,000 for The Christie Cancer Trust, Europe’s biggest single site cancer treatment centre. She hopes to take this total to £1,500 before the final in two weeks time.

Katherine has been representing Rutland on a national level, by judging beauty pageants, holding fundraising events and donating to causes in the region. She organised a Food Bank collection in September and donated 157 items to the Tesco Oakham collection.

Not only is Katherine busy fundraising for The Christie Cancer Trust, but in memory of her grandmother, she raises money for The British Heart Foundation and has just started working with The Brain Tumour Charity.

If she wins the coveted Mrs Galaxy UK crown, she hopes that she will inspire other married women into making changes in society, and that marriage doesn’t have to be ‘the old ball and chain.’

The winner of Mrs Galaxy UK is then invited to compete in the Mrs Galaxy International pageant in Florida in July.
