A show starring singer and reality TV star Kerry Katona is still going ahead in Melton despite national newspaper reports that it had been cancelled.
The Atomic Kitten singer was due to kick off a tour of her one-woman show on November 4 – this has now been postponed to April 12 next year.
Reports suggested that sluggish ticket sales were behind the show’s cancellation.
But her agency, TM Media, was reported as saying that is not the reason.
It was quoted as saying the dates will have to be re-scheduled because of Katona’s commitment to the reformed Atomic Kitten.
Melton Theatre co-ordinator Michael Harris confirmed to the Melton Times that the promoter has not cancelled the show. He added: “Ticket sales are around the 50 mark at the moment.”
Tickets for the Melton show in the 340-seat theatre, now on April 12, cost £20.
