The new pads, which have a vital role in ensuring the effectiveness of the shock administered to cardiac arrest patients, were bought for the device at The Edge in Dalby Road.

Shout4Residents Association chairman John Bellamy said: “People don’t seem to realise the electrode pads have to be changed when the sell by date runs out. With support from The Melton Building Society we’ve managed to replace them and we’d like to thank them for their continued support.”

The Shout4Residents annual general meeting will be held on Thursday, February 4, at 6.30pm. All south Melton residents are welcome.
