MELTON residents are being given the chance to have their say on an East Midlands Ambulance Service (Emas) shake up to close 66 of its stations, including Melton’s.

A public consulation on the proposals, called Being the Best, will take place at Sysonby Knoll Hotel, Melton on November 28 from 6pm.

Emas has also scheduled meetings at Lutterworth, Hinckley, Snibston and Market Harborough. The consultation will run until December 17.

Copies of the consultation document, with more information, will be available at the public meeting.
