A harvest auction has raised funds for the Macmillan nurses and East Midlands Immediate Care Scheme.

The event at the White Lion Inn, in Whissendine, had a spectacular array of donated produce for sale including fruit, vegetables and home-baking.

One of the organisers Mike Dickinson said: “As usual the harvest auction attracted an excellent turnout resulting in a successful event. I would like to thank everyone who donated produce and those who bought on the night.”

£260 each was raised for both charities.
