The 22nd annual Eastwell Fete took place on Saturday where families came together to enjoy sunshine and a variety of events on offer.

Highlights included a vintage and classic car display, an art exhibition in the church, dancing, live music, a bunjee trampoline and a falconry demonstration.

The event is believed to have been one of the most successful in the fete’s history raising an estimated £3,800 in aid of St Michael and All Angels’ Church.

Organiser Sue Watford said: “The weather was really good and the turnout was slight up on previous fetes.

“New this year was a family dog show which seemed to go down well with the youngsters.

“The whole day went really well and some people said it was the best we’ve ever had.”
