About 40 excited children attended a charity family fun day at Melton’s Jubilee Sports on Saturday.

The event, organised by home-based children’s entertainment business Totally Tangled Parties, raised just over £100 for the Make a Wish charity.

Totally Tangled Parties characters kicked things off by performing an energising half-an-hour Frozen-themed show with singing and dancing.

Other attractions and activities throughout the day included facepainting, a bouncy castle, cake sale and lots more.

Sarah Parkin, who runs Jubilee Sports with her husband, Steve, said: “It went really well and all the children seemed to enjoy themselves.”

Thanks go to all who attended and those who helped including Nicke Crafts, who did the facepainting, Kate Bishop of Bishop’s Bespoke Cakes and Catering, who made two cakes which were raffled off, and Totally Tangled Parties.
