Harby’s annual Country Show is due to get underway next weekend (September 10 and 11), with vintage agricultural machinery and a produce show as just some of the two-day activities.

The event, on Saturday and Sunday from 10am, has been organised by the Vale of Belvoir Machinery Group and is held at Canal Farm. It offers some great attractions for all the family.

There will be ring events, stalls, vintage parades, free tractor and trailer rides, craft and model demonstrations, a licensed bar and refreshments will be served.

Other attractions feature children’s games and a Sunday dog show with classes such as prettiest bitch, best puppy and waggiest tail.

The event will also have a horticultural and produce show (open to residents within five miles of Harby).

Admission is £5 for adults and free for children under the age of 16. For more information about schedules, times and entry forms visit http://vobmg.org.uk/harby-country-show/
