Wymondham School pupils learn about Victorian law in court rooms
As part of their topic on the Victorians, pupils in key stage two at Wymondham's St Peter's Primary School visited the Galleries of Justice in Nottingham.
Children took part in a Victorian mock trial, staged in one the Victorian court rooms at the museum.
Unfortunately both offenders were found guilty of their crimes and sentenced accordingly.
Once the trial concluded pupils were given the opportunity to be ‘sent down’ to the cells to see what life was like for a Victorian prisoner.
