Buckminster Primary School has officially celebrated the launch of its new pre-school which opened at the end of October.

The state-of-the-art facility was payed for by the school and Buckminster Estates, and cost around £50,000 to set up.

Headteacher Debbie Clarke said: “The village is incredibly lucky to have such a wonderful facility for our young children. It will ensure the future for the school is sustained and will support many families who require all round childcare.”

The pre-school has a highly trained leader in charge and currently provides learning opportunity for seven children.

The facility has the capacity to meet the needs of twelve children.
