Melton's Birch Wood School supports Rotary End Polio campaign

Earlier this week children at Birch Wood School planted 500 purple crocuses along the drive to show their support for the Rotary End Polio Now campaign.

Pupils learnt that children in other parts of the world need to be kept safe from the disease and they were each given a purple crocus lapel badge with a card explaining the campaign.

The project was also part of their outdoor learning and a way of understanding of how they can change their environment for the better and help others.
