Trailblazing Melton-based company SAQ International has launched the second stage of its hugely successful Internship School Movement Pilot Project - aimed at preventing obesity and improving primary school pupils’ physical activity and movement.
These factors have been proven to dramatically impact the learning and behaviour of students, with a total of 14 Leicestershire schools having now adopted the project.
Participating schools will have an SAQ intern placed at the school for a full year, in addition to SAQ training equipment supplied.
SAQ International MD Alan Pearson said: “We’re incredibly proud of the work carried out through the project in schools across the country. The feedback we’ve had has been overwhelming.”
