This year’s offering, performed at Long Clawson Village Hall, was Robin and the Sherwood Hoodies.

Over 300 people attended across both nights and watched the children perfect their own take on Robin Hood, whereby Robin and his Merry Men entertained the audience with jokes and witticisms.

Headteacher Cath Sinclair said: “Both evening went very smoothly and the children performed and acted out the parts with great enthusiasm.

“We chose Robin Hood because it was relevant to the children’s learning and something we knew they’d enjoy doing.”
