Pupils at Hose Primary School invited the community to join them for their harvest festival.
The service, at St Michael and All Angels Church in the village, was led by the Rev Fred Connell and the children were joined by parishioners as well as family and friends of the school.
Headteacher Margaret Cox said: “The children celebrated with poems and prayers and it was wonderful to be able to share our harvest service.
“Class 2 performed a harvest poem with sign language and there was a harvest blessing.
“It was a lovely service and we were all so proud of the children’s contribution.”
There was a collection for Dove Cottage and all the harvest produce was also given to the day hospice.
