Children and Friends Of Ab Kettleby School held a car boot and jumble sale at the beginning of the month to raise funds for their latest school project.

Thanks to some serious selling and bargain hunting £175 was collected for a new stage inside the school hall.

Friends Of Ab Kettleby School chairperson Debbie Meakin said: “The day was a huge success and something we are thinking about repeating.

“There were 10 stalls selling plants, sweets, jam and other general items. We also sold refreshments and bacon butties.”

Back in June Friends Of Ab Kettleby School held a car wash event which raised £165 for their school trim trail. This can be seen pictured above.
