Youngsters from Ab Kettleby Primary School will be helping to wash cars on Saturday to help raise funds towards the cost of fixing a wooden ‘trim trail’.

Thousands of pounds are needed so that the play facility, sited on a field at the back of the school playground, can be fixed.

The Friends of Ab Kettleby School (FOAKS) have organised the charity car wash taking place at the school, on Wartnaby Road, from 10am to noon.

Washes will be £5 per car. There will also be a cakes stall and bacon rolls and tea and coffee will also be available.

It’s the first time FOAKS has organised a car wash as they make a final push to raise the money they need to repair the trim trail.
