A consultation into the draft Local Plan has been running for almost six weeks.

Hundreds of people have attended public exhibitions at Gaddesby, Old Dalby, Harby and Melton.

Comments can be made online at www.meltonplan.co.uk or on written forms.

Paper copies of the draft plan can be viewed in Melton at the borough council offices and the library.

Other locations to do so as well are Windmill Tearooms at Wymondham, Waltham Deli, Bottesford Library, On The Sands Cafe and Deli at Long Clawson, Asfordby parish office and Somerby post office and shop.

Comments will be considered by an inquiry inspector alongside the plan proposals in the new year.
