Police name woman killed in A6006 crash as Amy Young (31), of Melton

A woman who died following a crash on the A6006 near Normanton-on-Soar, Nottinghamshire, on Thursday (August 4) has been named by police as Amy Young (31), of Melton.

The collision, which involved a Vauxhall van, a Peugeot car and an HGV, happened at around 1.05am.

The van driver was taken to hospital where he was treated for non life-threatening injuries before being released. The HGV driver wasn’t injured.

Nottinghamshire Police is appealing for anyone who saw the collision or has any information about it to call them on 101, quoting incident number 32 of August 4.

Three men, aged 21, 22 and 25, have been arrested in connection with the crash and been bailed pending further enquiries.
