Police investigate after tools theft from van in Syston
The victim reported the theft to officers at 7.56am on Wednesday, after finding his vehicle unlocked on the driveway of his address in Goodes Lane.
The incident is believed to have taken place at 1am that morning.

Hide AdA spokesperson for Leicestershire Police said: “A number of power tools and equipment were taken from the vehicle which the victim had left locked and secured before going to bed the night before.
“Officers are carrying out a number of enquiries to find who was responsible.”
Anyone who was in the area of Goodes Lane around that time and either saw or heard anything suspicious is asked to contact police on 101 and quote crime reference 17*307701.
