Police have arrested and charged a suspect in connection with burglaries at six Melton shops.

The news was confirmed in a Tweet by Insp Gavin Drummond, who is in charge of policing the Eastern Counties, which includes Melton and Rutland.

Insp Drummond Tweeted: “Great result. Priority offender arrested and charged to court with six shop burglaries in Melton Town centre.”
