Multiple motoring offences admitted by Melton man

A Melton Mowbray man has appeared at Loughborough Magistrates' Court charged with several motoring offences.

Marcus McQuillan Marshall (20) of Dieppe Way, pleaded guilty to using a motor vehicle in Thorpe Road on December 2, 2015 with no insurance, no driving licence and no MOT certificate.

He was also guilty of driving a vehicle on Shepherds Croft while not holding a valid licence, with no insurance and on a grassed area between Shepherds Croft and Russett Way, on February 5.

He went on to admit driving a mini moto motorcycle on Shepherds Croft on March 22 with no insurance,no licence, no registration plate fixed to its rear and without wearing protective headgear.

Finally, he admitted driving a pit bike on Shepherds Croft on April 10 with no insurance, no licence and without wearing protective headgear.

Marshall was disqualified from driving for 18 months, fined £200 and told to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £100 court costs.
