Local cases heard at Loughborough Magistrates’ Court

The following local cases were dealt with by magistrates sitting in Loughborough on January 28, February 4 and 6:

Natasha Pyecroft (27), of Shepherds Croft, Melton, pleaded guilty to assaulting a police officer in the execution of his duty in Melton on January 2. Pyecroft was fined £30, ordered to pay £50 compensation and a £20 victim surcharge.

Ricardo Newton (19), of Edendale Road, Melton, pleaded guilty to damaging a window of a car belonging to a woman in Melton on June 22. Newton was discharged conditionally for nine months, ordered to pay £90 compensation, a £15 victim surcharge and £20 costs.

Paul Kesterton (51), of Queens Close, Scalford, pleaded guilty to driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence on Nanpantan Way, Loughborough, on February 12 last year. Kesterton was fined £150, ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £150 costs.

Martin Hogarth (36), of South Witham, Lincolnshire, pleaded guilty to stealing 32 bottles of shower gel from Mercury News in Melton, on August 19. Hogarth was discharged conditionally for 12 months. He was also ordered to pay £20 compensation, a £15 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Nathan Jasper (43), of Back Lane, Thrussington, pleaded guilty to damaging a window in Leicestershire on January 13. Jasper was discharged conditionally for 12 months, ordered to pay £10 compensation, a £15 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
