Daniel Watkins (19), of Cedar Drive, Melton, pleaded guilty to driving with excess alcohol on Lands End Way, Oakham, on October 11. Watkins was found to have 71 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35mcg. He was banned from driving for 18 months, to be reduced by 18 weeks if he completed a course. Watkins was also fined £100, ordered to pay a £150 criminal courts charge, £85 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.

David Burton, of Caversham Road, Leicester, pleaded guilty to being in possession of a kitchen knife in a public place, namely Nottingham Road in Nether Broughton, on November 2. He was given a nine week prison sentence, suspended for two years. Burton was also ordered to pay a £180 criminal courts charge, an £80 victim surcharge and £40 costs.

Darren Bradbury (42), of Haddon Close, Syston, pleaded guilty to driving with excess alcohol in Melton’s Wilton Road car park on November 1. Bradbury was found to have 65 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35mcg. He was banned from driving for 17 months, to be reduced by four months if he completed a course. Bradbury was also fined £645, ordered to pay a £150 criminal courts charge, £85 costs and a £65 victim surcharge.

Stuart Carnall (29), of Asfordby Road, Melton, pleaded guilty to damaging a window belonging to Dickinson and Morris in Melton on October 3. Carnall was discharged conditionally for 12 months, ordered to pay £25 compensation and a £150 criminal courts charge.

Tracey Dicks (37), of Manor Road, Sileby, pleaded guilty to driving with excess alcohol on Loughborough Road at Burton-on-the-Wolds on September 21. Dicks was found to have 112 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35mcg. She was made subject of a 12 month community order and was banned from driving for 24 months, to be reduced by 24 weeks if she completes a course. Dicks was also ordered to pay a £150 criminal courts charge, £85 costs and a £60 victim surcharge.

Jack Merrill (26), of Grace Dieu Road, Loughborough, pleaded guilty to damaging two iPhones at a property in Nurseryman Way, Rearsby, on August 10. He was discharged conditionally for 12 months, ordered to pay £800 compensation, a £150 criminal courts charge, £85 costs and a £15 victim surcharge.
