Youngsters are being bowled over by a new out-of-school kwik cricket camp.

The Belvoir Bees, held every Tuesday at Asfordby Parish Hall, is aimed at boys and girls aged six to 11, offering 90 minutes of quality coaching each week.

The sessions, run by the Belvoir Cricket and Countryside Trust from 6pm, are being sponsored by Melton Borough Council to help get more children from Asfordby, surrounding villages and Melton, up and active.

Other Bees venues in the area are Great Dalby Cricket Ground and Hose Village Hall, both on Wednesdays, and Belvoir Cricket Club, Knipton, on Fridays.

The first session your child attends is free as a taster and there is no need to book, just turn up on the night and register.
