SARAH Elizabeth Prior married Simon Nicholas Clay at St Mary’s Church in Melton.

The bride, daughter of Iain David Prior and Anne Prior, wore an ivory dress and carried a bouquet of cream and red roses and lilies.

She was educated at Brownlow Primary School, John Fernerley College and King Edward VII School before going onto study at Sheffield Hallam University. She works as a teacher at Newark Orchard School.

The bridegroom, son of Nicholas Clay and Wendy Clay, works at Fabrikat Limited as a design engineer.

The couple enjoyed a honeymoon at Greetham Valley Hotel and Golf Club with about 100 guests, including guests from Canada.

They went on a safari in Kenya for their honeymoon.

The couple live in Calverton in Nottinghamshire.
