Colston Bassett Dairy received a top regional title for its Shropshire Blue at the 2015 Great Taste Golden Fork Awards.

The cheese was crowned best speciality product from East Anglia & Midlands.

Organised by the Guild of Fine Food, the Great Taste Awards are the acknowledged benchmark for the speciality food and drink sector.

Dairy manager Billy Kevan said: “We’re overjoyed about our Great Taste success this year. Being named best speciality product from East Anglia & Midlands is absolutely outstanding!

“Our cheeses are carefully produced using traditional hand-made methods. Winning a top regional title highlights the supreme quality and taste of our Shropshire Blue.”
