Tourism marketing company and Africa destination specialists Kamageo will be responsible for promoting destination Uganda to travel professionals, the media and consumers as the east African country looks to promote itself beyond its own borders.

Managing director Tim Henshall, who first visited Uganda in 1999, said “As well as its world-famous mountain gorillas, Uganda has a wealth of national parks, an abundance of wildlife, incredible lakes and waterways, truly outstanding birding and a wide range of adventure activities. You can make it ‘your Uganda’ by choosing what matches your own dreams.”

Kamageo was awarded the marketing contract earlier this month. Its team will head to Uganda next month to undertake a 12 day familiarisation trip covering the highlights the country has to offer.
